Chicken and Pork Available

Hello everybody,

We just want you to know we have chicken and pork for sale in our farm stand freezer.

The chicken is whole and frozen and was raised on our pasture. They ate a natural diet of grass, weeds, bugs which was supplemented with some non-medicated flock raiser grain.

Our pork was also raised on our farm and was just processed right before Thanksgiving. We have different cuts available: pork chops, roasts, ground pork and ham steaks.

All these are limited in availability, so get over to the farm soon. They are in the farm stand freezer and is self serve. Prices will be marked on the package, just drop payment in the cash box.

As always, we also have eggs and honey for sale too. See you soon!

Thanksgiving Turkey Pickup

Thanksgiving turkey pickup will be this SUNDAY at the farm from 3-5pm. We will also have local apples, turnips, squash, potatoes, eggs and apple cider. We had A LOT of requests for turkeys we just couldn't fill. Keep us in mind for you 2014 thanksgiving turkey and contact us early (September).

Local Products Wanted!

We're looking for local products to sell at our farm stand. If you or someone you know makes or sells interesting local items, let us know, we want to sell more than honey and eggs at our roadside stand. The stand is self-serve and honor system so pricey items may be out. And it is semi open to the elements so fragile items may not work well. And consignment works best for us as well. LET US KNOW!

What's going on this Spring

Hello everybody. It's been a while since our last farm update. We've been busy this Spring with about 150 new chickens (so far), three new dairy goats and a young handsome ram (he's for sale).

Our garden has been expanded by about 6 raised beds. It may be hard to stay on top of the weeding as we are expecting our fifth child this summer.

We think we may do the Fairhaven Farmers Market opening weekend on Father's Day and once a month on the first Sunday. Again, our spare time is limited with a new baby joining us. 

We do have our small farm stand at the farm in Westport open all the time. We hope to see you soon.
